In 2009, property owners in the Elk Grove West Vineyard Park Assessment District voted down a proposed assessment which would generate funds for maintenance of the completed MacDonald Park. Although construction funding is available to build MacDonald Park Phase 2, no maintenance funding is available, therefore, construction of the park has been delayed indefinitely. We would like to find a way to have CSD complete construction of MacDonald Park. Leaving half of the park site covered in weeds does not enhance our neighborhood, and it is unfair to all the residences of Camden Estates.
